Stellar Amenities completed a zero-g flight verifying the efficacy of deep pressure therapy

Anastasia Prosina, representing AIAA SATC, successfully tested Space Hug, a deep pressure therapy suit designed to improve sleep in space during Aurelia Institute's parabolic flights. Drawing inspiration from weighted blankets and pressure vests, this research addresses astronauts' reported sensation of falling during sleep and aims to reduce reliance on medication. Based on peer-reviewed studies and consultations with NASA's Johnson Space Center medical personnel, the Space Hug was verified aboard G-Force One as part of Aurelia's program that flew 48 people and 24 projects on two zero-gravity research flights.
